Born in what was then a small, rural Washington town of Fall City, Rico Tessandore was raised by a single mother. He worked his way through college, building sleeper-cabs at Paccar Inc. His dedication to his education paid off; he was the first college graduate in his family.

Rico is married to Anna, a local criminal defense lawyer, and they have two children: Lily and John. As a family, they enjoy spending time together in the outdoors and playing sports.

He currently manages a practice that focuses on plaintiff’s personal injury and general civil litigation in Lynnwood. Prior to opening his own law office, Rico had experience on the defense side of the civil litigation equation and also served as a Snohomish County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Special Victim’s Unit, protecting both children and the elderly. The 17 years of regular appearances in court have made him a seasoned trial lawyer, both as a prosecutor and a civil litigator. Rico has been rated Exceptionally Well Qualified by Judicial Evaluation Committees in the state.

Rico is a proven, experienced leader. He serves the community on the Board of Trustees for the Sno-Isle Library System. During this difficult recession, he helped all library branches remain open with full service, with every employee keeping their job. He serves on the Edmonds Community College Paralegal Advisory Board. He is respected by his peers as the past President of our county bar association. Rico is a recognized leader, named Snohomish County Washington Women Lawyers 2015 Chapter Member of the Year for his achievement in reducing litigation costs in District Court.
